Gluten-Free Wraps

There are so many gluten free wraps to choose from these days. Being gluten free just keeps getting easier! My favorites are the flavored wraps by Rudi’s Bakery. Each 9oz bag has about 8 tortillas and is available in 3 great flavors Plain, Fiesta and Spinach. I am partial to the Fiesta flavor. I make breakfast burritos and Cucumber wraps from this flavor and I love them.

For the breakfast burrito, warm the wrap in a flat pan for a few minutes than fill with any combination of eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, (try Beelers brand GF sausage) cheese and veggies to your liking. Wrap and hold in place with a toothpick. Cucumber wraps are even simpler just spread some cream cheese on the center of the wrap add in peeled cucumber slices to your liking. Wrap, and seal with a little bit of cream cheese.

The plain flavor is great for making quesadillas or one of my favorites cinnamon sugar tortilla strips. I have used the spinach flavor in every sort of veggie wrap, and they have all been great. I love that these don’t slit down the center when you try to roll or fold them; they get a little more brittle when warmed but not so much that you can’t fold them. They do take a little longer if your using a countertop grill than a normal tortilla would to brown just make sure you do not over fill if your using cheese or you will have a big mess. I also like that my husband loves the flavored versions just as much as I do, so I don’t have to buy two different types of wraps for making burritos or veggie wraps.

However, the picture above shows Rudi’s wraps that ARE GLUTEN. Please get a new picture of their gluten FREE wraps so you don’t confuse any newbies.
