Liven Up Your Salads
Salads can get boring unless you change it up. To liven things up, try this delicious recipe from Kalley our Produce Manager in Hudson! All ingredients listed are locally grown and organic.
Mediterranean Salad with Chicken Sausage
Organic Hearty Greens – any kind will work.
Goat Cheese – Kalley’s pick is the Minnesota Montrachet.
Chicken Sausage – Kalley’s favorite is the chicken/bacon/swiss made in house at the Hudson store. The sausage can be taken out of the casing and pan seared into a crumble. You can also grill it, bake it, or boil it.
Mediterranean Style Dressing – Kalley uses Mother Raw found in the Hudson Produce dept.
Fresh Veggies – radishes, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, or whatever you like!
Toss all ingredients together and enjoy!
