Apple-Turkey Sloppy Joes
Try this healthier take on sloppy joes with this kid-approved recipe is sure to please. Using ground turkey instead of ground beef results in less saturated fat. The addition of bell pepper and applegives flavor and crunch, provides fiber, and bulks up the recipe with fewer calories.

- Add turkey, onion, bell pepper, and apple to large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until turkey is browned, about 9 minutes.
- Stir tomato sauce, ketcup, mustard, and, if using, tarragon and cloves. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer, uncovered, until desired consistency, about 10 minutes. Add a little water if the mixture gets too thick. Serve on buns.
