Blackberry Almond Overnight Oats

If you are looking for a quick breakfast, overnight oats are easy, cost effective and delicious.  They are my favorite breakfast for weekday mornings, when I do not have any extra time.  You just mix the ingredients together in a jar and let them sit in the refrigerator overnight then enjoy the next morning.  Oats provide fiber and long lasting energy so that you do not get hungry for hours. I add in chia seeds for extra protein and healthy omega 3 oils, blackberries for antioxidants, and some almond butter to give it a delicious flavor and extra protein boost.  Also, since these are in a jar they are portable and perfect for on the go!  Healthy breakfasts can be easy!

Instructions

Mash the blackberries with a fork until they are the consistency of thick jam (if you want them sweeter, mix in the maple syrup). In another bowl, mix together all of the remaining ingredients, then spoon them into a jar, alternating with the blackberries.
