Caramel Dessert Hummus

I love savory hummus, but dessert hummus is also something that I enjoy making!  It is a way to enjoy something sweet that is still healthy for a delicious snack!  This one is caramel flavored, and the base is made from chickpeas with dates used as the “caramel”, so it is refined sugar free!  This is so good with fruit or pretzels or crackers for dipping!

Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor and blend until smooth (adding a little more water if necessary). Pour into an airtight container.

Keeps in the refrigerator for 2 weeks in a sealed container.
