8 Days of Recipes. Day 5: Festive Christmas Slaw

It is tradition to have lots of rich dishes for Christmas dinner, so sometimes it is nice to have a lighter dish to cut all the heaviness, like a slaw. The nice thing about a slaw is the possibilities are endless with ingredients, and it can be made ahead of time (like the day before) and served the next day.  The recipe I am sharing with you today combines some of the most colorful produce available this time of the year, and it is suitable for people with food allergies (it does not contain any dairy or gluten).
