Holiday Cranberry Pomegranate Guacamole
Around the holidays, often times we reach for the cheese tray or pigs in a blanket when it comes to appetizers forgetting there are healthful options. Of course there is the veggie tray with dill dip, but how about some guacamole? I am sharing a recipe with you today for a guacamole which includes cranberries and pomegranates for antioxidants along with the heart healthy avocados. It is a nice balance between tart, sweet and savory and is wonderful with slices of jicama for a lighter option or even gluten free corn chips.
