Kale Shamrock Shake

Shamrock shakes are available this time of the year from many places. I can see why they are popular; the combination of vanilla and mint in a shake is pretty heavenly.  I used to enjoy the shakes myself when I was younger.  Now that I stay away from refined sugars, dairy and artificial flavors, I make my own, especially considering how easy it is!  Instead of green food coloring, my shake contains nutrient dense green kale and hempseeds for healthy omega-3 oils and extra protein.  Frozen bananas loaded with potassium stand in for the ice cream, and I promise you this version of a shamrock shake is delicious, and it will leave you feeling energized naturally not by a sugar rush.
