Matcha Almond Sparkler

Matcha tea is delicious, healthy and a great alternative to coffee.  It is filled with antioxidants and boosts your metabolism.  I like to drink it every day.  But, did you also know it makes a great cocktail too?  What better way to ring in the New Year, than with a healthy cocktail with matcha!  For the recipe I am sharing with you today, I have combined it with the sweet flavor of almond for a festive and delicious drink!  This is non-alcoholic, but I have included instructions for if you wanted to add vodka too.

Combine the ice, matcha, maple syrup, almond extract, and water in a martini shaker, and shake for about 30 seconds.  Strain into a martini glass, and add the sparking water to top it off.  Enjoy!

*Note, if you want this to be an alcoholic drink, replace the filtered water with 1 oz vodka plus 1 oz filtered water.
