Pina Colada Protein Smoothie

I love tropical flavors for desserts, drinks and even breakfast in the summer time.  On a hot day, I can’t think of anything better than drinking a tropical smoothie after a hard workout to refuel.  Pina Colada is my favorite.  Not only is it delicious, it is nutritious as well.  Bananas and coconut water have electrolytes to refuel, and pineapple aids digestion.  I add in protein powder here as well to rebuild muscle and a bit of turmeric which is good to fight inflammation.  Make yourself one of these in the morning and you will start your day off happy!
