Pineapple Cilantro Ginger Limeade

It is nice to have a refreshing, cooling drink to sip on this time of the year, which is exactly why I made this Pineapple Cilantro Ginger Limeade! Adding cilantro to a drink may sound odd, but the aroma is perfect with the sweet pineapple, spicy ginger, and tart lime.  This is really good paired with Asian or Mexican food or even for serving with BBQ.  It is easy to make, and so good!  This recipe makes a large pitcher so it is perfect for a gathering or a party!

  1. To make the syrup, combine all ingredients in a small jar, and shake to dissolve syrup.  Let sit at least overnight to infuse and keep in the fridge for up to a few weeks.
  2. To make the drinks, in a large pitcher, muddle the basil with some ice until smashed a bit.  Add the pineapple juice, lime juice, syrup, and 4 cups filtered water and mix with a spoon until blended.
  3. Serve, poured over ice!
