Pomegranate Citrus Sparkler

It is nice to have something festive to sip in your hand at Holiday gatherings, and although alcohol and eggnog are popular, there are other healthy options as well for those who don’t drink.  The recipe I am sharing today is a mocktail with heart healthy pomegranate, citrus, and a little maple syrup for a delicious combo, topped off with sparkling water for a bit of fizz.  It is delicious and even children would enjoy it!  Whip this up at your next Holiday party!  It is way more fun than punch.  If you don’t want a mocktail, you may add some vodka (about 3 oz) along with the mix in the shaker.  You will just need to add less sparkling water.

For the drink, combine all ingredients except the sparking water in a martini shaker with a few ice cubes, place the lid on and shake.  Strain into a martini glass, and top off with the sparking water.  Enjoy!
