Red Berry Beet Smoothie

I was recently asked how to incorporate more beets into one’s diet without tasting them; and although I had many answers to the question, putting them in a smoothie was number one.  You can mix them with other tasty things such as berries, and you will not even know they are there.  One of my favorite smoothie recipes with them involves raspberries as well as some super foods such as goji berries, chia seeds and tart cherry juice for the liquid.  It is refreshing and fruity as is below, or if you are looking for an extra boost add in your favorite protein powder for a perfect breakfast!

In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth and well combined. Pour into 2 tall serving glasses and enjoy!
