Strawberry Basil Lemonade Popsicles

Everyone loves popsicles in the summer, from children to adults.  Nothing beats something icy and cool on a 90 degree afternoon. The problem is, many commercially made ones come loaded with sugar and a glimpse of healthy.  I recently came up with some sugar-free, homemade ones which are kind to the waistline and still delicious!  Strawberry Basil Lemonade Popsicles.  They are low in calories, refreshing and flavorful, plus they are fit for adults or kids.  If your kids are not herb fans, you can leave out the basil, but it is a nice twist on a classic flavor.

Instructions

In a food processor, add all ingredients and pulse until the berries and basil are chopped (but not smooth). Pour into 6 standard sized popsicle molds (or you can use cups and just put the popsicle sticks in a few hours after set in the freezer so they stand up) and let sit in the freezer until frozen hard or overnight. To remove from molds, run warm water over them about 30 seconds and pop out.
