Strawberry Ginger Lemonade
When warm weather hits, I find myself often wishing for a glass of lemonade…so I make it. I do not simply buy a sweetened mix and pour water in, I use fresh lemons. It is really simple to make, and I even make mine sugar free with stevia. I have recently been enjoying strawberry ginger lemonade. The strawberries add a lot of sweetness, and the ginger and lemon cleanse the body while being refreshing. I recently had a friend over who had a stomach ache, so I whipped him up a batch. Ginger is known to aid in relieving indigestion. It worked! The beauty of making your own lemonade is you can add your favorite things. You can swap out blueberries or raspberries for the strawberries when they come into season, or even add fresh basil or mint. The possibilities are endless!
