Summer Rainbow Shake

In the summer when kids are home and busy playing, it can be hard to get them to sit down to enjoy a nutritious meal (at least that was the case with me).  When I was a kid, I was more interested in being in the pool and out in the sun than sitting down. If I had had a smoothie like these Summer Rainbow Shakes though, I would have come in to eat lunch a lot faster.  I loved anything frozen as do most kids.  Plus what is better than something like a healthy shake filled with fruit and veggies that tastes like dessert but is nutritious?!  Plus this one catches the eye with the pretty colors.  No need to mention that the green comes from spinach and kale.  Although this is designed for kids to get the nutrition they need, it is perfect for adults as well, because who doesn’t enjoy things that taste like ice cream in the summer?
