Vanilla Hemp Milk
Hemp seeds are nutritional powerhouses, and I have only just begun to appreciate them. They are a complete protein, a source of essential fats, and great for sustaining energy. I have recently been sprinkling them on salads, which is delicious, but I also have other uses for them, such as hemp milk. Now, I have tried some commercial hemp milk and not liked it, but after I made my own I am in love with the stuff. It is super easy to make, no soaking required, 4 ingredients and all you need is a good blender. It is delicious as a protein rich cereal companion, and you can even make chocolate hemp milk if you wish simply add 2-3 Tbsp cacao powder to the mix before blending.
